Brand Book

Back in 2019, InVideo were still building the foundations of the fast-growing MarTech brand that they are now. Armed with a new logo – an origami fish, and a new tagline – ‘Play Your Ideas’, I crafted significant parts of their brand bible like the theory for the logo, tonality, and their target audience that went on to shape how they communicated over different platforms.

Women's Day Campaign

Bank of Baroda wanted to do a recurring Women’s Day campaign for their Salute Her Shakti property. I penned down an inspiring poem about the eternal feminine strength that was superimposed over PV Sindhu (brand ambassador and 2X Olympic medalist) practicing hard and overcoming great hurdles launched the campaign in 2022. The poem was then amplified with a contest, reminder posts, video bytes by the brand ambassadors, an hour-long winners’ interaction with PV Sindhu, Shafali Verma, and Rannvijay Singha. To drive engagement towards the final winners’ interaction video, we put up snippets. I handled the conceptualization, copy, and scripting of the campaign end-to-end. Here’s a sneak peek at the same.

Sports Day Campaign

Bank of Baroda had a property named Smash It With Sindhu for Sports Day which was essentially an AMA with the 2X Olypmic medalist. I handled the 2nd and 3rd editions of the property in 2021 and 2022 from A to Z – teaser posts, scripting of the main video, snippets, stories, etc. The 2nd edition was a live IGTV with Mandira Bedi, while the 3rd edition was broadcast on CNBC-TV18 and included Jatin Sapru, Shafali Verma, and Srikanth Kidambi.

Social Media

My work with Tata Power meant making the best of the moment to market their varied offers & services, and working directly with designers and video editors to bring ideas to life. From Stranger Things to Kim Kardashian at the Met Gala, there’s something for everyone. The stand out was a video I conceptualised and took to completion for International Day of Girl Child with a Super Mario theme that reinforced the need of education for girls and got some eyeballs.

ATLAS SkillTech University and TCS iON Career Creator both came with very specific ideas and goals of what their content needed to look like. And while initially we struggled to deliver a product that matched ivy league standards, through curiosity and careful communication we managed to turn things around. We helped them revamp their website while structuring the content to optimise for SEO and maximise CTR. Here’s a snapshot of the best work I produced on the projects.

From poker brands to financial stalwarts to established educational institutions, I have extensively worked on paid marketing copies while at Puretech Digital. Here’s a look at the bestsellers that I produced.

UX Copy

InVideo is an AI-driven video creation app that helps you convert your ideas into video in a matter of minutes. Back in 2019 they offered a variety of templates you could use to build your video. For the introduction screen I went with simple copy that inspired you to get creative while making it easy for you to start. And for their AI named IVA that helped crisp up the video, I decided to make it more human with copy like ‘Checking your video bit by bit‘ and ‘Looking under each layer.’

Cream Bell Rebranding

We came up with an emotional but playful way for Cream Bell to be able to connect with a younger audience through a campaign focused on freezing the little moments in time with ice cream. The 360-degree idea went from launch videos, scavenger hunts, OOH ideas to social media sustainability in the form of comics.

Bank of Baroda Valentine's Day

Ever the proponent of self love, I suggested flipping Valentine's Day to celebrate yourself by buying gifts and taking yourself out. The campaign smartly integrated Bank of Baroda's products through a video and follow up posts.

HDFC Bank Women's Day

The Indian Banking sector has some significant women who have shaped and changed how India thinks about money. HDFC Bank wanted to highlight their achievements for IWD 2022 while incorporating the #BreakTheBias theme. I came up with a visually-rich, captivating script that would work well on social media even today.

Wrangler Refresh

Wrangler, true to their name, wanted to shake things up a bit for their brand. I crafted an idea that captured the adventure spirit the brand stands for. With #ForTheBeat I even used the 'W' sewn on their jeans to deepen the connect with the brand.

BlinkX Launch

BlinkX came to us with an interesting brief where they wanted to embrace the fact that they were late in the game to launch an investment app. So, we gave them a bold, quirky, millennial-friendly campaign that said being #LateIsGreat. It came with an apology letter and a promise to rescue the TG from sub-par apps in the future.
